Grammar Error in Woodie's Skill Tree

That's correct.

The Werebeaver needs the skill to mine Dreadstone Outcrops for example.
In the case of Ryftstals, normal pickaxes can mine them, as well as the Werebeaver. By having the skill enabled, he will not receive knockback.

But then it doesn't specify that it increases the mining speed as well (breaking boulder with this skill takes 5 hits instead of 10)

The mining speed increase is acquired at the first level of the skill.
