I had three merms with the new tools chop some trees. A treeguard spawned and the server immediately crashed.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Befriend Merms as Wurt
2. Build an upgraded tool shed
3. Have them chop some evergreens until a Treeguard spawns
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
