Craft animation overrides knockback animations for players

The player's item-craft animation has a high execution priority and overrides most forced character animations triggered externally. Examples include knockback, being thrown off or mounting/dismounting beefalo, post-animation after jumping through wormholes, falling into water or the void, and more.


The newly added Ancient Guard Tower mainly relies on knockback to pose combat threat. With a mod that automatically triggers crafting animations to bypass knockback, this new boss becomes extremely trivial to fight and its difficulty design is rendered meaningless.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Subscribe to an auto-status-clearing mod (Workshop ID: 3046021612 for reference).
  2. Bring crafting materials for any craftable item (e.g., logs for crafting a wooden oar), then get knocked away by attacks.

yeah I appreciate you reporting this but in the end it's the mod's fault.

So I'm not the only one giving feedback about this problem,Although this update has already fixed it, that mod author has struck again.
