The player's item-craft animation has a high execution priority and overrides most forced character animations triggered externally. Examples include knockback, being thrown off or mounting/dismounting beefalo, post-animation after jumping through wormholes, falling into water or the void, and more.
The newly added Ancient Guard Tower mainly relies on knockback to pose combat threat. With a mod that automatically triggers crafting animations to bypass knockback, this new boss becomes extremely trivial to fight and its difficulty design is rendered meaningless.

- Subscribe to an auto-status-clearing mod (Workshop ID: 3046021612 for reference).
- Bring crafting materials for any craftable item (e.g., logs for crafting a wooden oar), then get knocked away by attacks.
