Confusing about soul dropped by Abby when Wortox around

I feel like your argument would be stronger if you just used Wortox's line of "This soul's already been sucked! Hyuyu!" When failing to revive Abby.

I think it's fine to keep the Abby dropping a soul thing.

Survivors drop souls, which can then be eaten.. then you can examine their ghosts where Wortox will joke about eating, despite the fact that he just did.

So Abby having the same thing going on, and thus being like the other survivors, is actually kinda nice. Makes her more 'human' ig

Yes, the point is Abby's soul is not on her ghostly body but absorbed by the flower.

I started to think the survivor's souls argument you mentioned here. I could understand if the soul drops for Wortox is not a "true soul", but this would being more confusing once I consider Wortox's quotes and lore. Whether this would be change or not, I wanted an potential explanation to my questions...

It's probably not. Bosses drop like 8. Which doesn't make sense.  Whatever it is, it does still require a creature to die. Which is what Wortox's quotes generally refer to
