The helmet only seems to grant the knockback protection the first time it is equipped after crafting it. If the helmet is removed and then re-equipped the knockback protection is gone.
Steps to Reproduce
Craft a new Commander's Helmet
Get hit by an attack with heavy knockback
Observe the proper knockback resistance
Unequip and then immediately re-equip the helmet
Observe the loss of knockback resistance
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
