Wormwood's bramble husk reflection distance has been reduced. 

Previously, it had a value higher than the attack range of baby tentacles, but in the current beta, it is constantly attacked by baby tentacles.

Is this a bug or is it intended?

I can confirm, the aoe seems to be smaller on the beta branch. 
 

on live servers any baby tentacle that is in range to attack a stationary Wormwood will get killed by the thorns aoe, on the beta this is not the case.
