All ranged mobs 'cancel' their attack once leaving their range

This bug has been around for eons, and it's super odd. It's showing up in usual gameplay now with a lot of the focus being shifted to Walter's ranged gameplay.

A lot, if not every mob with any sort of ranged attack simply fail to fire their projectile but still go through the animation.
This applies to mobs like Bishops, Ewecus, and even Fuelweaver and his bone cage. Once you leave the attack range, the attack fails.

 

 


Steps to Reproduce

Approach and leave a mob's usual ranged attack area, notice the attack will fail to go through, not firing any projectile at all.
