Wendy will endlessly make noises as though you are constantly examining something (no matter what you are doing).
Steps to Reproduce
1. Pause the game while in game as Wendy.
2. Enter skill tree via character button near equipment slots.
3. Wait for Abigail Ouija board interaction to occur.
4. Escape skill tree and unpause the game.
The issue seems to only happen sometimes, so there might be some reproduction nuance that I can't explain.
You seem to only be able to fix the problem by trying to cause the problem while you already have it (or probably by exiting the game).
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
