    I picked up the dog and beat the first course with the dog (a la Buddy Mode) but now (even though I ditched the dog) the dog is appearing in the Marathon Trial (with the 21 checkpoints.) Yeeting the dog down the hall doesn't change it, dog still appears in my hand. Restart probably fixes it. But dog.
