Update Information:

Hi Friends,

Today’s public testing hotfix addresses an issue with the Conduction Panel destroying heat when interacting with other buildings, a couple room system fixes, and some general polish.

The Hot Shots update goes live to everyone on Thursday along with a new animated short. We’re looking forward to hearing about your adventures with the Mysterious Hermit and seeing the creative ways the new buildings are used!
 

Changes and Improvements

  • All versions
    • Mysterious Hermit story trait animation updates.
    • Updated Geotuner sidescreen targeted icon.
    • Update Geotuner building artwork and animation.
    • Reduced probability of “Charismatic” trait triggering an overjoyed reaction.
    • Minor revisions to mysterious hermit knocking sequence.
    • Updated translations for all supported languages.

Fixes

  • All versions
    • Fixed an issue allowing an unintentional amount of energy to be created or destroyed by the Conduction Panel when interacting with other buildings.
    • Fixed issue with room conflicts not working correctly. This was causing Great Halls to become a Recreation Room.
    • Fixed issue causing "Some Reservations" achievement to trigger prematurely. This reintroduces a bug where Shine Bugs entering/leaving a Laboratory room do not update the room criteria.
    • Lab Workspace bonus now correctly affects non-research science buildings.
    • Fixed missing geotuned geyser status item on load.
    • Fixed copy settings tool allowing geysers to exceed the intended maximum Geotuners limit.
    • Potential fix for crash when repainting/resculpting an artwork.
    • Fixed wrangling priority reset on load.
    • Mysterious Hermit
      • Fixed Mysterious Hermit story trait completion not spawning the new duplicant in some situations.
      • Using the Sandbox Destroy tool on the Gravitas Shipping Container no longer crashes.
      • The Mysterious hermit’s cheeks now display properly when eating. 
      • Charismatic trait now affects mysterious hermit an appropriate amount of the time.
      • Story trait activation notification now works after save/load.
      • The building no longer emits light when non operational.
      • Power warning icons now only display while the story trait is in progress.
      • Fixed issue where the Outfit Browser screen did not correctly display the mysterious hermit’s cuffs.
      • Story trait complete lore now unlocks properly. 
  • Spaced Out! only
    • Fixed issue causing mission control boost status item to linger on rockets.
