Hey Grifters,
Today was a big bug fix day. There has been more work on flourishes and mettle, and a new (currently inaccessible) quest for smith day 3.
All and all, it was a good day to Grift.
GAMEPLAY
- give smith the colloblast password if he attacks the priest and doesn't kill them
- New smith day 3 quest: side_smith_seemli_triangular_firing_squad
- In brawl, Rook can light a fire at his campsite and lure in people to hire/rob/hang out with
- Add 'Defeated Boss' unlock to Boss Compendium.
- autosave after purchasing mettle, because otherwise you can game the daily limits
- Added prestige_points and boss_advancement to the game profile
- Defeating bosses now grants prestige points
- change flavour of stop shopping option with steven the party machine
- fix result of scaring away the guard in sal_brawl_undermine
- fix some bad param refs in smith_tei_dog_and_pony_show.lua that would lead to weirdness if you save/loaded mid-quest
- Back Channel Negotiations: Add betrayal effect to beat up option tooltip
- make a skin for NPC_SMITH
- fix NPC_SMITH's voice
- give vixmalli plot armour
CARDS
- Added presentation for simmer when it triggers
- Added upgrades for Simmer
- save_face now applies composure to all instances of Renown
- collected now applies composure to all instances of Influence
- Added explanation strings when choosing cards for replicator, oshnu_glue, annihilation_cage, double_down, rehearsal, and amplify
- Fix missing tuning value on Strange Chemical.
- Fix potential crash with Shock Shield.
- Added remaining duds to cards that improvise from a deck and can therefore have 0 valid choices.
- High Places modifier evaluated before Parlous Concept.
- Fix Wrist Rocket not triggering Kindled.
- Fix crashing adding Doubt.:(
- Fix hatching of Deep Bog Secret.
- Fixed desc of brazen_attack_plus
- Move the trained/untrained pet modifier creation to InheritBaseDef, since the constructor won't have all the base_def properties yet. Fixes specifically the lonely snail pet modifier.
UI
- Activating Flourish now plays a "flourish" anim on the player
- Add 'auto_deal' flag on cards to augment 'show_dealt'. This shows the cards as dealt, but doesn't require a click. The presentation feels a bit better for eg. Down the Hatch because you can see the bottles spread out on the screen before animating to the discard.
- If card damage has both bonus and penalties applied to it such that the final value remains equal to the original, it will be highlighted as having a penalty, instead of having no highlight.
- Fix upper HUD positioning on lumicyte
- fix Add a quit to desktop option from the pause menu
- Make save and quit vs quit more obvious in the pause menu
- Fixing the scissoring on the compendium's People and Bosses info popup
- Daily Cave escape: Remove the trap 'skip' option. You can skip after seeing the draft.
