[Game Update] - 724783

This is a hotfix release.

Update Information:

Changes

  • Added Chessmaster Circuit.
  • Replaced Field Survey II skill with Signal Booster skill, which boosts drone range in general rather than just Roto-Mapper.
  • Roto-Mapper now also functions similar to Ocuvigil, but only revealed to the owner.
  • Backup Chassis now remembers its stats (e.g. Health, Hunger, Sanity, Beanbooster Shield).
  • Possessed Chassis changes:
    • Follow a bit more tightly to the player.
    • Can be opened to view their inventory.
    • Repairs Void Cloth, Brightshade, and W.A.R.B.I.S. equipment using kits in their inventory.
    • Drops part of their eaten gears on death, just like WX-78.
    • Can now use the Zaptrocuter Controller and aid in combat.
    • Recognizes attack commands from the leader controlling a Zaptrocuter.
    • Can raise anchors, lower masts, row, and soak in hot springs with their leader.
    • Given the ultimate power to copy their leaders' emotes.
  • Shadow Servitor changes:
    • Please note that some effects if not listed did not receive major changes, and some have been split between whether you have a type of Shadow Fuel or a type of Shadow Atrium implanted.
    • Pure Horror can now be implanted into WX-78.
    • Implanting Nightmare Fuel or Pure Horror unlocks the Auto-Grabber drone, which replaces the shadow harvesting effect.
    • Implanting Shadow Atrium or Possessed Shadow Atrium unlocks the Exploiterator drone, which replaces the shadow "whip" debuffing effect.
    • While having any shadow implant, WX-78 can consume Nightmare Fuel or Pure Horror for a short emergency burst of energy. (i.e. Temporarily overrides your battery to max power level; does not recharge your underlying battery level.)
  • Active temperature circuits will prevent the respective overheating and/or freezing overlays and animations.
  • Thermal Circuits and Refrigerant Circuits perishing rates now stack (e.g. 2 Refrigerant Circuits means WX-78’s inventory has half perishing rates.)
  • W.A.R.B.I.S. Armor and Head Gear target lock in range is increased by Rangebooster Circuits with Beta Circuits Tinkering I.
  • Bio Scanalyzer now ignores walls when pathfinding.
  • Watering Can can now be used on Nutribricks.
  • Added unique examination strings for Backup Chassis.
  • You can now double click in the skill UI to learn the skill.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with reviving players sliding.
  • Fixed Processing Circuit’s skill effect applying to negative dapperness items.
  • Fixed networking issues with temperature going too high if WX-78 has two Thermal Circuits plugged in.
  • Fixed sanity aura modifier not applying to Beanbooster Circuit with Alpha Circuits Tinkering I.
  • Fixed Optoelectronic’s circuit effect sticking around when swapping Chassis.
  • Fixed a case where unplugging a Super-Gastrogain Circuit didn’t fully revert the hunger rate modifier.
  • Fixed a crash when attacking a Possessed Chassis that is blocking.
  • Fixed Possessed Chassis not playing the gear eat sound.
  • Fixed Possessed Chassis missing status and reaction states like electrocuted, knocked back, slipped, etc.
  • Fixed player-friendly traps (e.g. Tooth Traps) triggering on Possessed Chassis.
  • Fixed Possessed Chassis going invisible from certain facings when using the Jousting Lance.
  • Fixed Possessed Chassis not instantly going dormant when unloaded during death or despawn.
  • Fixed Possessed Chassis not properly inheriting the skins of the Backup Chassis they spawned from.
  • Fixed a crash when Bio Scanalyzer is hit down by a Catcoon as it’s spitting out Bio Data.
  • Fixed Watts Up skill effect not applying on initial spawn.
  • Fixed old evergreens or twiggy trees reappearing again after being chopped by WX-78’s spin.
  • Fixed WX-78 being possessed by a Void Masque when they should drop a Backup Chassis instead.
  • Fixed a Void Masqued creature killed by another Void Masqued creature being possessed again by a Void Masque.
  • Fixed an item duplication bug with Shadow Maxwells.
  • Weremoose Charge and Werebeaver Tail Slap will no longer hurt allies.
  • Fixed friendly Grumble Bees attacking friendly Clockworks.
  • Fixed Malbatross only being able to spawn at 1 shoal on world reload, instead of half of the shoals.
    • We'll keep an eye out if this causes too many Malbatross fights.
  • Fixed Woby’s transform state being interrupted by eating.
  • Fixed the default Beard being shuffled around by the sort filter in the Belongings panel.
  • Fixed crashing sometimes when Scrappy Werepig’s tackle attack is interrupted.
  • Fixed Crustashines playing the death sound of a Moleworm when being cooked.
  • Fixed Clay Vargs and Gingerbread Vargs not being immune to shock.
  • Fixed a case where dead creature entities persist off-screen.
