Self buffing character perk help!

Hi guys! 

 

I need help in coding my character's perks which is only activated when he reads comic books (similar to Wicker's) - I've tried using her own and book prefab files on how to start doing the work but I got stuck mid-process. 

 

Here are my intended effects:

1.) Increased move speed (around 50% increase) for a minute upon reading

2.) Damage reduction (50%) and higher damage multipliers (1.5) for a minute upon reading

3.) A sanity restoration in an area around him

 

I will keep working on him as I await assistance, thank you guys in advance!
