New tool making mechanic

I think that a cool mechanic for making tools and other things in the game is that when you first start the world and build a prototype of something that that prototype is less affective and breaks easier. But after you start making the tools more and more they will start to last longer do more damage and maybe they could get some perks. And this makes sence since you are making them more and you start to get more skilled at crafting them witch makes them better. I don't know just thought that that would be a cool addition.
