SamuraiJones
I've had an idea that sounds cool to me. What if we had a machine on the surface that absorbed/emitted radiated heat? I'm thinking that you'd build it on the surface, and so it would look for space exposure to function, kinda like solar panels or the telescope. You would pump liquids through to change their heat. Liquids pumped through during the day would get hotter, while liquid pumped through at night would get colder. In my engineer's mind, I'm imagining it would use the same heat-transfer logic that everything else uses, but while it was exposed to space it would be "in contact" with "space." And then the temperature of "space" would oscillate between very low and very high, using the same curve as surface light. I personally want to use it for cooling, but I expect some people would want to harness the heat capture to drive steam turbines or some other fancy machinery. InternetGuy
Actually, there is a workaround for the day heating right here. It's a new innovation for cooling which I think would be nice to be introduced in the game despite radiant cooling being relatively weaker cooling than what we already have.
