Fridges do not magically remove heat from existence. They transfer it to the radiator, and then to the environment, and just air won't be enough to cool tons of solid material. What you need is a device that would transfer the heat from solids to liquids, or from solids to other solids (e.g. cool regolith, melt ice). I once suggested something like this in the form of the ice grinder, which would be capable of only mix ice and water together, but maybe a more generalized building for any heat exchange between substances would be better.
