Junlgeman
I've been playing the game for a while now, and love it! For as long as I've played and found you could create horizontal doors, I've wanted to see single-tile hatches you can easily place between ladders! I think this would be more convenient, and better looking that a 2 tile door on its side! (In my opinion). I don't know if anyone else has been thinking this, but I doubt I'm the only one. This got me thinking, what if this could be incorporated into a new upgrade; The 'Claustrophobia' Upgrade. As well as single-tile hatches/doors, duplicants could now 'crawl' within singe tile spaces; called 'crawl-spaces' at reduced speed and resulting in increased stress. This stress response could be linked with a new trait 'Claustrophobia'. Duplicants with the 'Claustrophobia' trait, cannot enter 'crawl-spaces', and duplicants without the trait can but the longer they spend in crawl spaces, the quicker their stress increases; until they have a 'panic-attack', quickly pushing stress to their 100% stress limit. Other items could maybe include a Ventilation fan, which pushes through environments gases by creating high and low pressure in the environments ( a bit much maybe? I don't know, just playing around with the idea) Mostly I just love the idea of having a single-tile door/hatch to integrate with vertical ladders, which would maximise on efficient use of space and could possibly be integrated with a fun new dynamic What do people think? Sasza22
I`ve seen single tile doors suggested a lot. Personally i probably wouldn`t use them but i see some applications. Maybe have the door count as a part of the ladder so dupes move faster thorugh it.
