Have a direct control of dupes' behavior?

Though in ONI people could almost make dupes what they want them to do by setting up priority, the problem is still that the specific schedule is computed by the computer, which sometimes is annoying. 

YES, I know I could always figure it out by using some extreme setting of priority to solve such issue, but it is time taking and not fun at all.

Why shouldn't the game give player the access to directly guide the dupes to do things, like giving them a new player-made schedule?

I think such mode could be fun by playing this game as a third-person RPG or something like that.
