With Cosmic Upgrade, population management became easier for critters, however eggs became harder to manage.  The egg cracker allows full control over what and how many eggs get cooked, but not what or how many are kept.  As eggs lose viability when stored now, using storage to automatically mange eggs is no longer a good option.  I propose using a new building to handle egg micromanagement.

Egg Re-locator  The name could be something different, this just helps determine its function and would work similarly to the critter drop-off, so egg Drop off could work too.

Automation  This could interact with the sweeper as a receptacle, but would have no further automation interaction.  For an automation signal a separate sensor should be used instead, otherwise Dupe labor is required.

Mechanics It would work like critter drop-off and allow the amount and type of eggs in a room to be managed.  Should an egg of the wrong type be laid, a dupe will come and move the egg to another re-Locator set to receive that egg.  Whether this would be in a hatchery or cracking room would be up to the player.  This is intended to use mechanics already present in the game so as to not be too difficult to implement.

All creative details about the egg re-locator such as appearance, name, and materials for construction are details that are not concrete and could be changed.  Suggestions for these are welcome and could provide additional ideas, but I will provide no further input on such.

All comments and suggestions on egg management are welcome and I may continue to discuss them.  I would like this thread to remain focused on ideas for egg management rather than discuss too many topics at once.
