scientas
Had a thought and was wondering what the general feedback would be for it. With some games that I play, as your roster grows they introduce a grouping feature to assign them to certain squads so that you can have certain team builds for certain things (a tank squad, a magic squad, etc). Would a feature like this added to dupe management provide some benefit? I know that whenever all dupes are trained they become interchangeable, but if you had 40 dupes that you could assign to five squads of eight, possibly it would benefit the pathing/tasks somewhat? Say if I had 6 dupes with diver's lungs, I could set them to a squad and use them for low oxygen exploration exclusively. Door permissions could be set to allow only that squad through, which would save time by not having to assign individual permissions. Or if I had 5 dupes with high care, that would be my "hospital" staff that I keep near my med bay. Members of squad stay within X radius of each other Co-worker stress buffs Shared XP Squad uniforms - say if you had a full crew of groundskeepers, maybe they'd get janitor uniforms in addition to the hats? Or scientists would all get lab coats? Having them stay close to each other could prevent the lone wolf deaths where one dupe goes off on their own and gets marooned or stuck with no one close by to save them. Thoughts? TG pro
You know, when I look at the title and see the word "crew" I remembered that my 2nd colony called "crew"...
