How to create custom weapon/item

using the long glove as a base i made a sprite for what i want to be an infinity gauntlet mod, does anyone know how to make item mods?

There is a difference between items and equipables (weapons,tools, etc.) in terms of coding and being equipable. So I'm guess you want the second link which requires a bit of coding changes and png resizing to fit your weapon. Oh yeah I do know how to make some items but I don't specialize on only items so if you have question go ahead and ask and I'll get back to you when I'm free.

I know this is a very old thread, however, Im very new to modding. How exactly could I get the "Spriter Example: Equippable Item"  To work as a weapon? Thank you so much!
