Xpadder Disabled? Intended, or am I doing it wrong?

Hello!As I am getting older and after a good thirty+ years of heavy mouse/keyboard use, I've taken to using a gamepad when I can to get repetitive motion relief.As such, I use Xpadder a lot, which allows you to map keyboard/mouse commands to a controller. Don't Starve would actually be very playable with xpadder, especially with the "Spacebar" command mapped to a key on the controller.However, xpadder won't work when the computer's focus is on Don't Starve. Is this intended, or am I doing something wrong?
