Steam Absorption - Steam Systems - Dedicate Heat Exchangers

Recommended Posts

Hi Klei Crew,

I am neither a design engineer nor an expert in the field of HVAC, however I have worked in the Energy Engineering field for 6+ years, have a chemical engineering degree, and am a member of ASHRAE.

Fluid dynamics, heat transfer and chemical reactions are things that this game handles in a variety of ways, and the dispersion of heat, or molecules act very differently.  I would propose that the team look at including steam boilers using either natural gas or electricity, as well as steam absorption chillers and heat exchangers to allow for a less cumbersome solution to heat transfer, liquid heat generation, and vaporizing water.

I would be more than willing to run through all of the theory behind each tool which would allow you to determine the game mechanics behind such in game items, so please let me know your thoughts.

If others in the community have already spoke to this I do apologize.

Thank you for your time!
