Mod perk help - summer speed boost, increased damage from fire etc

Hi! this is my first time making a mod and im excited to do so. ive been able to figure out everything else myself and im even planning for them to be fully voiced! but i knew id need help on custom perks.

My character is going to be a walking shrubby thing called wiggy! so to fit with that theme I was thinking some plant related perks like:

photosynthesis:

-getting a speed boost in the day in summer

- overheats less quickly in summer

hibernation / going dormant:

-gets less hungry in winter

-gets colder slower in winter

and then maybe something like being able to eat rot/poop like a real plant, getting a very small passive health boost from rain and taking extra damage from being burnt

i wanted to create a character that could deal with the seasons well as something useful for new players trying to learn the seasons or players who struggle adjusting to seasons

if you have any idea how i can implement any of these perks or have more suggestions id love to know!
