Batteries

So im on cycle 300 and i have two biomes full of batteries. The rest of my base only takes up the starting area and a few spots around the comet. I havent got enough power stored to keep  my colony going through the night. I've done plenty of automation so only barracks lights are on at night but still. So could we maybe get new batteries? Maybe bigger in dimensons but more storage per square? Otherwise im gonna need more operators and more manual generators to back up my steam generators.
