realdead_man Posted February 11, 2018 Share Posted February 11, 2018 The occupation update (hereafter Jobs update) is very very badly optimized. My computer: Windows 10, 4790, 16ram, 1080TI, SSDD harddrive. I know the my CPU is 4 gens behind, but still it is a I7 4 core+4 Hyper thread former top CPU. Almost every single time I click the jobs menu, I get "not responding", have to select "wait " and wait several seconds for the menu to become responsive! I understand the game is E.A., beta, alpha, what ever, but dang! Can't you off load some of the math to the GPU? I like to play with 30-50 dupes. That is what I need to play and not lose interest in the game. AT 30 dupes, clicking JOBS tab brings my pc to a complete HALT, that takes 10-45 seconds to recover from. The JOBS update is broken, optimization-wise. Please do something! (Like remove the whole "jobs" system. lol ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maciej75 Posted February 12, 2018 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Old i5 and antique graphics card - just small annoying delay while opening jobs window. How many dupes you have, I have 8?
