Would you be happy with the following idea? - "Roomba"-Station: 2x2 tiles, needs power and acts as conveyor inbox. - A 1x1 tile robot automatically roams the floor and collects stuff. The sizes allows the robot to move through small tunnels (Star Wars anyone? ^^) - When the robot is low on energy or is at max. carry-capacity it returns automatically to the station. - You can connect a conveyor belt to the station. - The robot can't climb, use ladders, poles or tubes. - The robot takes damage if touched by liquids and breaks if the hitpoints reach 0. Has to be repaired. For a delivery drone I think about the same mechanics but the robot is airborne, needs a minimum atmosphere to maneuver, carries by far not as much as a Dupe, is really fast and may use multiple landing pads to recharge. The drones' size ist 1x2 (w/h) and looks like a metal ball with a rotor, a small "grab-gun" and a dangling hook on the button for the freight. I imagine both robots for hazardous areas like non-oxygen greenhouses or mining areas but not for regular base chores.
