Hoping someone could make a small modification for woodie and his wood eating?

hello, so i got the game 3-4 days ago and i have been loving it so far and have also loved playing woodie. but i feel that as woodie, my main job of wood chopping falls off as the game goes on. and the mountains of wood i have farmed become less and less useful. 

so i'm looking for a very tiny (at least i think it is) change for woodie. the change i am proposing is to add a food value for the wood he eats if it is a higher tier. so food restoration would start at maybe 10-15 for boards and maybe 20-25 for a living log. regular logs and other wood items would not restore any food and would just restore beaverness as normal.

i dont know how hard this would be to add but i have seen other custom character mods add in food gain from raw minerals. so maybe its possible to make this change.

now i understand this would be quite powerful if you are good at the game or playing solo since its an easy and reliable food source. but the reason im asking for this mod is because i feel like im not contributing to my group as woodie because he doesnt bring much to the table besides wood collecting. especially since his werebeaver form is barely a viable combat option and is only really good at collecting, you guessed it, more wood.

if i could use boards and living logs as a small food source this means that my group now needs to focus less on food than before since a smaller amount of food can now feed more people. so a mod like this can indirectly buff woodie's cooperative aspects.

i have looked at other rebalance mods and their changes are too drastic for my tastes. some gave the werebeaver near invulnerability and others made it so woodie was incentivized to be a werebeaver all the time. which was not appealing to me.

so hoping some helpful member of the modding community could make this idea of mine become a reality or help point me in the right direction. thanks for reading
