A matter of priority

Hello my fellow dupes!

After playing a lot of Oxygen Not Included the last couple of weeks you of course notice some small things that catch your eye.

Mine is mainly the Dupes priority when storing stuff, a dupe no matter what makes its decision to store a given resource in the container closest to him.
Not the resource, which makes them run across the entire base or map, to store small or large amounts of any given resource.

Only thing I am suggesting is that the Dupe takes the decison about which container to dump his sweeped resources in, at the point of pick up, and not at the point where he decides to pick it up.

I wonder if anyone else noticed this?? :o

Great I am not the only one, I hope this gets looked into, because it makes the entire colony extremely ineffective. =/

It also seems there are two ways the Dupes sets their priorities...
The priority number that you assign to something, which is always dominant, and a secondary priority based on job type. 

If a single thing is put to priority 9 they will always do that, but if two things are put to 9, and only 1 Dupe are on the map, there is a secondary priority level behind that. Example: Building always have a higher priority than Digging.

That can also cause some trouble when having the micromanage the colony.
It would be nice to be able to set priority level on job type on each Dupe, rather than having to scroll all over the place, having to set priority on Sweeps, Building, Mop, and so on.

Or that a Dupe simply check their own priority table first, which would resulst in a Dupe set to "Deliver" will keep doing that if its personal priority is set highest. =)
