eloy2030
I was thinking, with so many post about how to make automated power switches, that a good solution would be to have an electrical valve, that way, U can set that it receives power when some other equipment is being used. ie. I have a pump that supplies an aquatuner. That´s 1,44 kj. If I have the pump set to turn on when some liquid is above certain temp, I can use the same power line to turn on the valve (that is set to 108 g/s, that feeds 1.8 nat gas generators, which produce 1.44 kj). Obviously I can use the same power line to turn on a pump and have the same result, But I think it is less elegant and counter-intuitive. Also, The pump could be on the other side of the map, while the valve could be in the middle of the base where the generators are. gaining more flexibility and options.
