Bargeral
Some simple machines that we've had since the dawn of civilization that would be nice to have after the apparent fall of said civilization. Radiator - allows the exchange of heat between fluid/gas on the inside and fluid/gas on the outside at a greater rate than snaking a whole bunch of pipes around the place. Liquid/gas Storage tank - Store and pressurize liquids near the point of consumption. Store slightly more than you can stack in a homemade tank and allow them to be "pumped" out even if the pump is offline as they are under pressure. Dump chute. Like a bottle emptier for stuff. Drop stuff down long ladders without making the trip. Fan: Basically a gas pump/outlet in one tile. Pneumatic tubes. They've been mentioned before, but I put another plug in for them. With all the gas/liquid movement systems already in place, making an Object movement system doesn't seem too improbable. You could have a simple point to point system, or a remote storage compacter distribution system. Either would be cool. OK, maybe the '50s instead of the dawn of civilization for this one, but still.
