Carbon Skimmer & Water Distiller Kill germs apparently

So after my recent play through I I had a suspicion that less germs were coming out of some building than what came in and after some sealed experiments in debug mode, yea this is most certainly the case,

The Water distiller and the Carbon Skimmer both have a similar effect, thou they of opposite inputs and outputs with respect to polluted and clean water.

I'm not sure if it is a fixed amount of germs removed or what but the amount is significant and if the amount of germs going in per per kg of water is 1000 or less than what comes out is germ free for both machines.

Is this suppose to be a thing because its not a stated detail for said machines in any where I've looked for details and also it makes germ management seem quite easy. I mean I guess I can now re-purpose that Water boiler system I built into a sauna for the dupes.

I kinda wonder if this is a intended feature for these machines, I mean I would have guessed not 100% of the germs would pass through the machines but I didn't expect them to have significant sanitation properties.

The description might have changed, but I remember the Water purifier saying it kills some germs in its description for the Outbreak upgrade.

the current description text on the building is:

"The distiller cannot kill germs and pass some disease contamination they receive into their waste output."

Perhaps it was overlooked
