CtrlAltCuteness Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Unfortunately, Apple heavily restricts what they allow to run on their systems, which is why (as an example, not intentionally advertsining) they only allow full versions of Minecraft to be provided on their App Store. Also, since it allows arbitrary code execution and reading fro / writing to, it could be potentially exploited and be used to put your device, and also any stored personal information (including the account holder's credit card information) at risk by any malicious mods. This is just a task not worth it for Klei devs to undertake for the sake of possibly getting their game pulled off the store as well as their developer license revoked (and not refunded — it isn't cheap to purchase one each year!).
