[Help] Custom Weapon Graphics Not Showing

Hey so I'm trying to make a custom weapon but I can't seem to get any graphics to show up. Right now I just want to borrow some fire staff graphics as a placeholder but I can't even get that to work. I have the anim zips in there. I feel like it might be related to the animstate stuff but I'm really not sure what to do. Where do files need to be located and what files do I need?

I'd really appreciate any help. I want to ask an artist for assistance with something later but I can't exactly do that if I can't even figure out how to get graphics into the game.

Specifically, the inventory images don't show up and nothing shows in the character's hand. There aren't any errors or anything and the item works fine in terms of stats and function.
