I think Gas pumps should be toned down a tad on power consumption, 240 is very punishing. If your using a manual generator with a Pump and filter that's 360w of your 400w production. Even with a Natural gas setup. The generator provides 800 but getting the 'right' gas to it costs 360 taking care of the CO2 costs 120 and the polluted water can cost 240. So at peak consumption without any other devices you're using 720 of your 800 budget. If gas pumps could toned down to 200 or 180 I think that would be great.

The power cost of the pump is only punishing if you do things wrong.

Gas pump can collect gas for 8 NG generators. If you collect gas from NG geyser, you can use pressure sensor to turn it off when gas pressure is low. If you collect it from bottom of your base, you can only run it when the gas builds up. In both cases you only need to run it fraction of the time the generator can run off the scooped gas.

One NG geyser is supposed to sustain 5/3 of NG generator.

According to my maths, 1 geyser, 16 fertilizer makers, 7 generators, and 2 scrubbers (plus some pumps) make a machine that converts ~2000 g/s of water into ~2000 g/s of fertilizer, 2.5 g/s of polluted water, and about 3 kW of surplus power.
