Game crashed after building pipes.

I've been playing and loving this game for about 30 hours without problems, however today it crashed and I cannot start it again without it crashing on startup. 

I was building some pipes when it crashed, but other then that cannot think of any other triggering actions. 

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling it via steam, uninstalling it, deleting the savegame folder in MyDocuments and then reinstalling it and restarting but nothing has worked.

 

The top error in the crashlog is:

d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
  in module d3d11.dll at 0033:a7b15d20.

 

Any help would be appreciated thanks.
