fatman_n Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 I remember from the flash game "MotherLoad" that the biggest excitement for me, was when I found treasures and other values outside of the ordinary. Therefore, I propose that it be treasures as opal, ruby, emerald, diamond and stuff like that. The gems could be insert into machines for significant improvements in performance. That way the gems would have more then an esthetic value. Ofc, putting two rubies in the eye-socket on a statue of a dupe, would be very cool and increase its "Decor" value! And I know they have added "exiting" things in cracked sand in the "thermal upgrade", but that's not what I have in mind. MousesDonkey Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 I think it could be neat if you could find artifacts or treasures that you then build a pedestal for and you dupe takes it and puts it on there and it increases your decor. There is a similar mechanic with the memorials, where they build them, and then a dead dupe is placed inside. And on the note of what you were saying, you could also find something like an "Otherworldly Artifact" that could be attached to machines making them more effective, and you could possibly get them back if you had to deconstruct the machine. It could help reduce how fast the dupe you give it to gains stress.And they could also add another negative trait of jealousy to dupes where they stress more if someone else gets a treasure but they don't.
