Evillevi
So I love the game. For all the flaws with it I really like the concept of building a base and making contraptions to stay alive. And where ONI stand out is that the world itself is inherently inhospitable and nature is the enemy I'm working against. That said I have problems. Ignoring QOL and Bugs, my main problem right now is the gameplay loop specifically the loop I'm in is roam for materials, identify a problem, plan out a solution, build it, and repeat. The problem right now is that a lot of the problems I have require excessive amounts of time to build the things I need to see it through. This means I really don't want anything to go wrong sine mistakes are time consuming to fix beyond the point where I find it fun. Especially when I have to spend time waiting for the dupes to build or gather the things I need. Third is the material bonusses. I don't like it for the simple reason that it doesnt feel great. I venture out, find what I need and profit(?). There's no real satisfaction of making a Gold Amalgam contraption since the effort of getting the amalgam is the simple apkplication of digging more stuff. A forge or something that I had to build/design to get the upgraded materials would feel a lot better IMO. I don't know how representative this is but I hope it helps.
