For now, I believe if you wait for a couple of cycles after the plant is ready, they'll automatically drop, no harvest required. Takes long enough that it's still worth harvesting unless you have a huge abundance of food, though! I've had times when everyone is literally starving to death, running around fetching water and stuff, and I CANNOT get them to go get the dang food off the floor to save their lives. It's a little buggy at the moment. You can't use the Priority tool to change the priority on harvest, and the priority setting on the Harvest tool is iffy. You can click on the plants and set their priority higher manually (in the bottom right) to harvest faster. Make sure you have the plant selected, not the planter box! void0 Posted March 16, 2017 Share Posted March 16, 2017 Plants that are ready for harvest wilt after 2 cycles then another 2 cycles before they "reset" and drop their "food". Use the priority tool at 9 and then drag over all plants __before__ they are ready for harvest. That way you do not have to manually select each plant and set the priority. If I remember correctly you have to redo that after a new seed has been planted.
