Coal generator start working when your battary have place to collect energy, if some one of your colonists generate power then coal generator won't work for nothing, check your manual generators, there is trigger set it to 20% then your colonists will start work on power when at least one battary got 20% on power, but your coal generator will work all the time and your colonists got free hands to do some work instead of spin wheels. Nativel Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Check you enery consumption, if you have only 240W consuption and your colonists use 2 manual generators with give your energy system 800W then coal generator won't work, because there is no point to generate power if you generate more than spent. Nativel Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Some times your colonists need to eat and do tier bisness, so they will place coal in coal generator when they rdy to work. You can set red alert if you think the situation with energy goes rly bad, then your colonists will work and it's doesent matter what do they need - eat do tier bisness or didn't have oxygen to breath, they will do work you set up and will sleep after death for ever.
