Veroxid
This may already be considered as a possible add on in development with Quote More ways to create sustainable systems for resources such as water, fertilizer, dirt etc.~from the download forum post but there are some conversion systems that I think could be a very nice addition to creating self-sustainability. Have one object that you can place in fertilizer to turn it into dirt. Maybe have something like:Fertilizer + Water -> Dirt + Contaminated Water or the like that would likely cause some form of byproduct. Now, if we use that formula, there would have to be a balance in the Contaminated Water -> Fertilizer conversion in the other objects to not abuse the two to create infinite dirt. Basically, the balance should roughly be:Dirt in Mushbars + Dirt in Latrine ~= Dirt in Fertilizer ~= Fertilizer from Contaminated Water to maintain the conservation of matter. Seeing how fertilizer is just fertile dirt, I don't see much of an issue with adding this besides figuring out where to put the "fertile" part of the fertilizer when it's converted to dirt. By doing this we'd have a use for fertilizer as well as reduce the heavy dependence of Mealwood by creating recyclable Mush Bar production.
