DrStrumban
The duplicants are being forced to breath pure oxygen at more or less atmospheric pressure (assuming the cursor depicts a metre cubed volume). This will kill them after not too long and will certainly make them very ill, assuming they have a human physiology which they certainly seem to have. I suggest at least reducing the pressure of oxygen to around one fifth of current, but low pressures like this can have bad effects on the lungs - so I also suggest introducing the use of a "filler" gas that will not interact with most things - eg nitrogen. Apparently the old Skylab used a 40% nitrogen, 60% oxygen mixture at a third normal atmospheric pressure (gives the correct partial pressure of oxygen) but the International Space Station uses a mixture and pressure similar to Earth's atmosphere at sea level as it is better for the astronauts. D_x
The problem is that gases (and liquids) does not mix in current game physics. There is normal to have 100g of contaminated water on the bottom of the water pool or one cube of some grams of co2 inside 50kg per cube gas cave. Guest
Who ever said that dupes were humans and have to live by the same rules?
