Idea for making an area looking nicer

The game already has paintings so why not add a flat painted background that adds to the area, possibly not alot but it would be something 

Same goes with a possible carpet idea but it could possibly use some unknown item yet to be added 

Also the addition of fountains (less of a good idea i know but still something)

 

Plants to give different levels of appeal for example the more spiny twiggy looking plants have low appeal where as perhaps added flowers or leafy plants have a higer appeal but are harder to find and grow
