The Gas Suction Gun.

 

I would like to see a gun-tool the dupes can unlock via research that will allow them to manually suck up gases in the world.

 

This would work with a machine that turns metal into gas tanks which the dupes put on their back and use to deposit the gas into, the tanks will fill up with the first gas that enters them and vent out any other gases out of the back of the dupe, you could select what gas to suction by the same select tool you use to dig, deconstruct and cancel.

 

Pros.

 

A finer control over unwanted gases that enter your base.

Gases gathered could be used in conjunction with machines that require the same gas.

 

Cons

 

Requires man power.

Tanks only hold a small amount of gas.

Gun can suck up only a small amount of gas at once something like half of the Gas pumps so 250g/s or even less.
