Kinetika Posted February 4, 2017 Share Posted February 4, 2017 As the title says, i have an old world, 250+ days old, with a big base and a friend who plays with me. and we really don't want to start a new world. They said in the update post that they will provide information on how to manually add this update to the existing world. Any news on that ? and since we are in beta, shouldn't it be automatically added ? PLEASE HELP US ! Maybe they try to add a new command specific for this case or something. Klei did his best to add things to the game when possible, as it was the case with toadstool, bee queen and other stuff. But you must understand this isn't always possible, because some changes will create bugs or others problems. Adding a prefab (like adding berries bushs in the world) is ok. Adding news tiles (like desert ground) isn't. You can wait for Klei solution. You can probably spawn some items yourself if you really need them, it will be less immersive but will allow you to keep your world.
