What's the current existing one? I thought there were only translation packs as mods.

Usually all game strings are set in a file or group of files, and these files are translated. The best being when they are set on-line in a translation framework where each translation is collaborativelly completed and peer-reviewed.

In DS and DST, there are .po files with all the strings. You can download one of the translation pack mods to see it for yourself.

I've googled a bit what platforms exist for internationalisation (that's how the translation process of a program is called), I've found:

weblate.org, crowdin, webtranslateit.com, poeditor, transifex...

I think there's no official internationalisation site for DS or DST, if you're motivated, you could create one using weblate.org, it would be much more efficient than everybody posting translation mods over and over again.
