Can't Join my own dedicated server on a differnet computer (Same Network)

Hello Guys!

So this is the problem I am experiencing.

I have two computers, Let's Say A and B.

Computer A (Server Computer)

Hosting the don't starve together dedicated server with caves.

forwarded ports 10999 and 10998 UDP.

Computer B (Client Computer)

Using this computer to connect to computer A, but I receive the message "The server is not responding. Try Again"

 

Now my friends can join the server and I tried using my laptop as well to join but no computer on the same network besides Computer A itself can join.

What I tried:

I tried changing the ports, forwarding again and retry joining.

In previous versions of Don't starve I know there was a way to join locally by clicking "Show by Lan" and that would work, this is not the case anymore in the newer updates. Now there are two tabs, "Online" and "Lan, I see my own server on "Online" but i receive the problem when connecting.

Tried looking it up everywhere, only old posts that talk about what I said, and really nothing recently.

So hopefully I can get some input and help out anyone else experiencing the problem.

Just for more information: I have the Asus RT-N66U router

Edit: Okay, Im an idiot apparently, but some people will probably have the same issue and just for anyone.

For a temporary Fix, use c_connect("ip of computer", port, "password")

Example: c_connect("56.5.456.454", 10999, "password123")
