ZombieDave
Hi guys, I made a sever the other day and I love the map the game generated, however I goofed and forgot to change a setting in the world generation screen - I want lureplants to be set to "less" but I accidentally left it at "default". Now, the save files are editable in notepad, and I've noticed that there are two variables in the overworld save, which are these: lureplantspawner={spawnintervalvariance=480,spawninterval=1920} lureplants="default" Looking on my last world, which had the lureplant spawn properly set to less, the same things appear as: lureplantspawner={spawnintervalvariance=960,spawninterval=4800} lureplants="rare" My question is, if I edit this in the save from the new world, then save it and play with that, will it take effect and keep the world intact (without corrupting it)? Or are there any easier or less risky ways to change spawn rates after the world has been created? Thanks!
WanderingSilver
Good question. I say do it but save your original file as something else. Give it a go and wait for a new save in game. Go back in and check the newly saved modded file to see if it's still the same. Just a thought.
