settings.ini not being created on new server

Hello forum

I'm trying to run a dedicated server off my local machine, using the DST Dedicated Server program from Steam's tools section. I've gotten the auth key set up and what not, and the server works however, a settings.ini file is not being generated in the directory at all. There's an empty server.ini and a few logs, but that's it. For that, my game itself (reinstalled) is not generating a settings.ini for the client, which apprently is the one I'm supposed to grab and throw it into my servers directory.

 

I'm really not sure what's going on, but I can connect to the server just fine. I just can't change any settings because there's no settings.ini file for me to even modify. Would appreciate any help, links, etc. Thanks in advance~
